"Celebrating 15 Years of Entrepreneurial Success"

October 28th 2005, 6:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., 3401 N Fairfax Drive, 3rd Floor Auditorium, Arlington, VA.

Sponsored by the Arlington Small Business Development Center, Mason Enterprise Center and George Mason University in partnership with the Virginia Small Business Development Center, Arlington Economic Development Center and Business Development Assistance Group.

This celebration is to mark the success of entrepreneurs who took the risks, harnessed their commitments and dedication to overcome barriers to become successful. Please join Federal, State and Arlington County Elected Officials, corporate CEOs, our successful clients, Mason Staff, our strategic partners and friends to celebrate the Success of our Entrepreneurs, Partners and Supporters.

"Virginia State Procurement Seminar for Asian Pacific American Businesses"

October 6th 2005, 7:45 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., 3401 N Fairfax Drive, 3rd Floor Auditorium, Arlington, VA.

This event is sponsored in partnership with the Arlington Small Business Development Center of George Mason University, the Virginia Department of Business Assistance and the Coalition of Asian Pacific Americans of Virginia and .Representatives from the Commonwealth of Virginia will discuss the state's new initiative to increase access to state contracting for small women and minority businesses. Topics include state certification and use of eVA, the State's electronic purchasing system. Purchasing representatives from Fairfax County, Arlington County, George Mason University, VDOT and other major procurement agencies will talk about their needs.
