9/11 Poast Attack Business Assistance Arlington SBDC of George Mason University
has played a crucial role in providing
Post 911-Business Recovery Assistance
Services to the business community of
Arlington County and greater Washington,
DC metro area. As a result, the Arlington
SBDC was awarded the 911-Post Attack Business
Assistance Program funding from the Virginia
Department of Business Assistance to conduct
programs to reach out to affected businesses
and provide them technical assistance
and information on the disaster loan application
process.
The purpose of the SBA's
Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) Program
is to offer financial assistance to those
who are trying to rebuild their businesses
in the aftermath of the 911 attacks. By
offering low-interest loans, the SBA is
committed to long-term recovery efforts.
The agency will do everything possible to
meet the needs of those otherwise unable
to put their lives back together.
Arlington Small Business
Development Center (Arlington SBDC) has
been recommending business owners of the
Arlington County and Washington, DC metro
area to take advantage of this opportunity
and by filing their applications as soon
as possible. Business owners interested
in applying for a disaster loan or obtaining
