Disaster Assistance
9/11 Poast Attack Business Assistance
Arlington SBDC of George Mason University has played a crucial role in providing Post 911-Business Recovery Assistance Services to the business community of Arlington County and greater Washington, DC metro area. As a result, the Arlington SBDC was awarded the 911-Post Attack Business Assistance Program funding from the Virginia Department of Business Assistance to conduct programs to reach out to affected businesses and provide them technical assistance and information on the disaster loan application process.

The purpose of the SBA's Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) Program is to offer financial assistance to those who are trying to rebuild their businesses in the aftermath of the 911 attacks. By offering low-interest loans, the SBA is committed to long-term recovery efforts. The agency will do everything possible to meet the needs of those otherwise unable to put their lives back together.

Arlington Small Business Development Center (Arlington SBDC) has been recommending business owners of the Arlington County and Washington, DC metro area to take advantage of this opportunity and by filing their applications as soon as possible. Business owners interested in applying for a disaster loan or obtaining further information can contact and pick up the applications from the offices of Arlington SBDC at 3401 N. Fairfax Drive, Room 225, Arlington, VA 22201 or call 703-993-8128.
